1) Yep, that's what I got. Hahaha. Only ours is blue and used but still super cute (Craigslist, naturally). Can't wait for the baby bike seat and then we'll have full-on family bike rides on the beach. Ha. Hilarious.
2) Then Kris and I played at Disneyland...so fun to re-live our first date.
3) I also got a full night of sleep. After six weeks this was like heaven. NINE hours of heaven (thank you, dear).
3) But the only WISH I made was for my baby to get better. I don't want to jinx myself but he is getting soooooooooooo much better every day that I believe maybe birthday wishes come true after all :)
P.S. The culprit may be a milk allergy. I got him on soy about 5-ish days ago and he is improving every day. The past few days have been awesome. The first night I noticed major improvement I was so ecstatic I literally couldn't sleep. After the 3am bottle I just laid there and looked at his cute face until morning.

Yea! Things are looking up! Boo, food allergies aren't fun. But at least you'll have your sanity! I think we'd all be better off without all the dairy we consume.
Oh I hope that it really is a milk allergy and he grows out of it. Happy Belated birthday. Glad that you got 9 hours of sleep, that is heaven to a new mother.
Hey Cathy...Kris's Jersey friend Amy here...Just wanted to tell you to hang in there with the possible allergy/reflux. One of my twins cried all day everyday (10am-10pm literally), for a month. I wanted to try switching her to a soy formula. What was the Dr.'s idea? Zantac. Immediately Zantac. I took the Rx. I filled the Rx. I went home and proceeded to get ready to give it to my 3 month old and then my gut told me not to give it to her.
I called the dr. and told her that I was switching to soy before I tried the meds. She agreed with me (WHY DIDN'T SHE HAVE ME DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE I ASK YOU?!), but she had me go straight to Nutramagin (by Enfamil). For the same reason you mentioned. It's hypoallergenic.
Literally within a couple days she was a new child and never needed the Zantac. That formula is liquid gold (seriously expensive), but worth every penny. She was on that until she switched to milk (at whatever age they do that...I've blocked it all out!), and she never had a problem. So she did grow out of it.
*Just a side note about Nutramagin...I had Dr. Brown bottles, but the Nutramagin was too thick for the nipples (although that was 4 years ago, so they might have Y cut nipples now.) I ended up using Playtex VentAir ones for that. I've tried every bottle out there...we counted once and had 63 total. I know, it's sick.
