Something about having a baby makes me want to experiment with my look. Kinda of drastically. I figure, why not? I'm not exactly in tip top shape anyway so why not try something new and by the time I lose all the weight I'll look normal again. Haha.
Kris was eyeglass shopping today so I tried on a few and he FELL IN LOVE with the whole "journalist" with bangs look. Well, I DID study broadcast journalism...
Seriously, I hate bangs and I haven't had them since 8th grade. Everyone used to call me Winnie Cooper from Wonder Years when I had them. Ha. Not sure I could go back to bangs again.
Have any of you had the whole post baby "makeover" bug? And if so, is it a horrible, horrible mistake to go for it...kind of like when you impulsively send an email that you REALLY should not have written but don't realize it until you push CLICK and then you are mortified?
Will that happen to me with the scizzors?

You look super cute!!!! Do it, they will grow back. Just make them long enough so that if you hate it you can pin them back.
Ah, you're beautiful no matter what! My hair stylist knows me...she refuses to cut my hair any more than a trim a couple months before or after having a baby. She knows I'm not emotionally sound during that time period. And later, I thank her every time! But maybe I'm missing out on some cute cuts that I wouldn't be so daring to do normally! Go for it!
That look is perfect for you!
And I did the same thing. When Marley was just a couple months old I got the sweeping bangs (first time with bangs since high school.) They looked awesome when the stylist did them. But once I washed them and tried to do it on my own, I hated them! Wore my hair in a head band for months.
BUT..... I'm sure yours would be perfect and beautiful. The pictures look great. I say, why not?!
BTW, I'm loving Friends.
Thank you.
Kyle wanted me to tell you that Winnie Cooper actually went to UCLA, now has a PhD in Math and actually proved a math theorem while she was there........not a bad comparison eh? =).
Go for it mija! It's hair. and Kris (squared)will still love you
I would have to say bangs is kind of drastic. I mean it would take a long time to grow them back, but than again I just can't stand to have hair in my face. I am sure you would look adorable, but make sure your hormone levels are stabilized before you do anything too drastic :)
I had bangs cut after I had Brody and I HATED them. The only way they looked good was when they were right down in front of my eyes and with two little kiddos running around I didnt have time to always be blowing them out of my face... I pinned them back for about 2 months until they got long enough to do them to the side... you, however look very cute with them.
cut it cut it cut it.
